  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  • 1 pound spaghetti or fettuccine


Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all your ingredients. Ensure the chicken breasts are fully thawed and trimmed. For best flavor, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese.

Step 2: Mix the Creamy Sauce

In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt until smooth and well combined.

Step 3: Layer the Crockpot

Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your crockpot. Pour the creamy mixture evenly over the top, making sure all the chicken is covered.

Step 4: Add Broth and Cream Cheese

Add chicken broth around the edges to avoid washing off the sauce. Cube the cream cheese and place it on top of the chicken.

Step 5: Cook Low and Slow

Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours until the chicken is fork-tender and fully cooked through.

Step 6: Cook the Pasta

About 30 minutes before the chicken is ready, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Step 7: Shred and Serve

 

Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot and stir to combine with the creamy sauce. Serve over your cooked pasta and garnish with fresh parsley or additional Parmesan, if desired.

Notes

  • Ensure the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) for safe consumption.

  • For an even richer sauce, stir in an extra 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese before serving.

 

  • Sauce too thin? Remove the lid for the last 30 minutes to help it thicken.
